NIH-Oxford Scholars Application
NIH Oxford Scholars should apply to Oxford as soon as they receive an offer from the NIH using this online process
When completing the ONLINE application form please take note of the following:
On page 2 the Course Code is 003986 and the Programme description is 'D.Phil in Biomedical Sciences: NIH-Oxford'.
On page 2 under Proposed field and title of research project put 'NIH-Oxford Scholars Programme'.
On page 2 the Advertised Reference Code is '10CLINMED03'.
On page 6 the NIH can be included as a funding source by choosing 'Departmental Award', with an application status of 'applied to'.
On page 6 There is no need to apply for additional funding schemes.
On page 7 for Statement of study plans/Research Proposal - at this stage for purposes of admission list Dr Richard Cornall, Director of the Oxford Programme as your supervisor.
On page 8 a CV should be uploaded which includes your final year school results and full details of your research experience. You are not being reassessed. This is for University records. References are not required.
University administration requires a single credit card payment of £25 to accompany your application. Unfortunately, no other form of payment is acceptable for online applications. We apologise but the current configuration of the application form requires payment of the fee, even for funded students.
