Research interests

Our group is focusing on developing cancer vaccines. The main drawback of this immunotherapy is the highly immunosuppressive tumour environment. My DPhil project focuses on combining cancer vaccines with different treatments to enhance immunogenicity and thereby tumour elimination. For this purpose I will study and target two major immunosuppressive populations in the tumour environment: the myeloid derived suppressor cells and the regulatory T cells.

Background

I did my undergraduate degree in cell biology and biochemistry at the Jean Monnet University, Saint Etienne. After this I pursued a Master’s degree at the Ecole Normale Superieur de Lyon where I studied immunology, cell biology, oncology, epigenetic, neurology, microbiology and virology.
