Louisa Iselin

Postgraduate student

Louie is a DPhil student on the BBSRC Interdisciplinary Bioscience DTP. Her project focuses on exploring the viral and host factors shaping how the genomes of RNA viruses interact with host proteins. Under the co-supervision of Peter Simmonds and Alfredo Castello, she will be using proteomics to explore how structural and compositional features of viral genomes influence vRNP composition, and how RNA-binding patterns of proteins involved in the innate immune response change during infection.
