Kirk is the group Research Manager, with responsibilities for overseeing the sample pipelines from sample receipt in Oxford to their inclusion into the genome-wide genotyping experiments.
Apart from working with the laboratory team to manage the processing and genotyping of samples, he also works with the IT team on a web-based LIMS system to build and improve systems for managing sample pipelines.
