If historical data is to be manually added to Otter then it is possible to do so by adding the required employees' and approvers' details and grant registrations, but each with the importer's own email address.

The importer can then trigger the admin option to email users with outstanding timesheets and receive emails containing links to access the system on behalf of each user.

The importer is then able to complete the timesheets and approvals on behalf of the users.

Once data import is complete the importer can enter the users' actual email addresses, which will allow the system to email them directly for future timesheets.
