As well as the main twitter account, NDM have a sister Twitter feed, @NDMScience. Scientists from across NDM  take turns in being a guest tweeter from this account for a week and tweet about their research, lab life and more.

This is  great opportunity to gain experience in outreach without having to leave the lab. All that NDM ask for is one tweet per day over the course of the residency and we are happy to provide training and support in using Twitter.

Suggestions for tweets could include an interesting paper, news, an experiment or data, lab life, a disease or gene of interest, dispelling scientist myths, lab selfies, conference/seminar discussion etc. Full details of appropriate use of Twitter can be found by reading our Twitter policy.

If you are interested in being one of our guest tweeters please email public@ndm.ox.ac.uk with suggested dates for your residency.
