Oxford Impacts
High impact research from the Nuffield Department of Medicine has been published in the University of Oxford’s Oxford Impacts series.
The Oxford Impacts series celebrates the range of impacts the University has had on the world of policy, health, business and culture, enabled by the world-leading research of Oxford academics.
The series now includes three stories of impact from NDM: how Dr Simon Travis work on inflammatory bowel disease has inspired support for the creation of the new Institute for Immunology and Translational Medine, Professor Adrian Hill’s involvement in the development of the T-SPOT test for tuberculosis, as well as Professor Nick White’s groundbreaking research into artemisinin-combination therapy; the world’s first-line treatment for Malaria.
