Summer Internships
Each summer, the Nuffield Department of Medicine welcomes a number of students from overseas to undertake research internships working on different projects throughout the department. A number of these internship places are reserved for Chinese students, funded by the Victor and William Fung Foundation.
Since the start of the internship scheme, some interns have been successful in gaining places on the DPhil in Clinical Medicine programme. One such student, Xi Li (pictured right with Mr KM Wong, Director of the Victor & William Fung Foundation), has started his DPhil with Dr Tao Dong. He attended the Fung Scholars Leadership Conference in Hong Kong and has written a report about his experience.
If you are a Chinese student in your final year of undergraduate medicine study, looking for a career in medical research and you are interested in this opportunity then please email graduate.studies@ndm.ox.ac.uk in the first instance.
