This will provide crucial funds for the Neglected Tropical Diseases Programme led by Prof Arturo Reyes Sandoval to work towards the development of a vaccine against Chagas disease, which remains a leading neglected tropical disease in the Americas.

We received great news in July this year that The Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine awarded Prof Arturo Reyes Sandoval a £46,750 Confidence in Concept grant for a study on “Pre-clinical protective efficacy of novel Chagas vaccine candidates: A final step towards clinical application.”
