Target Discovery Institute (NDM Research Building), Group: HIV Immunology and Global Health
Expertise: Immunogenetics, Infectious Diseases, Immunology, Genetic Epidemiology
Dr Louis-Marie Yindom is an immunogeneticist with interest on diseases affecting humans. Dr Yindom is a Post‐doctoral Research Scientist working in the HIV immunology and Global Health group within the Nuffield Department of Medicine. He completed a PhD, focussing on the immunogenetics of HIV‐2 infection in West Africa, with the Open University in 2010, for work largely carried out in the Medical Research Council (MRC) Laboratories in The Gambia. For the past five years, he has worked as a Post‐doctoral Researcher in Prof Sarah Rowland‐Jones’ Group in Oxford. During his post‐doctoral work, he has continued to develop his interest in immunogenetics and infectious diseases and has published extensively in this area.
