Wendy Vianey Padilla Cabrera

Coordinator of Epidemiology of the Public Health Laboratories of the State of Michoacan (Coordinadora de la Sección de Epidemiología de Laboratorio Estatal de Salud Pública de Michoacán

I studied a degree in Chemical Pharmacobiology in the Michoacán University of San Nicolas de Hidalgo (1997-2002). I have a master in public health at the Institute of Higher Studies in Tamaulipas State (2010-2011) and I also have a master of virology at the Pedro Kouri Institute of Havana, Cuba (2011-2012).

From 2004 to 2011 and 2012 to 2014 I was responsible for the process of dengue in the State Laboratory of Public Health of the State of Michoacán, where my role is as coordinator of epidemiological surveillance from 2014 to date.

I participated in several research projects in the field of virology, especially dengue. I have been a speaker at various courses and conferences. Currently my performance is in administrative area, but I also perform in the analytic area.
