The Nuffield Department of Medicine received a 'highly commended' award in the Public Engagement and Advocacy category in the 2015 ARMA awards. The NDM strategic team's Zoe Stockdale, Karen Valentine and Darren Nash collected the award on behalf of all individuals and teams across the department who have worked on public engagement. They are pictured here after receiving the award from Anton du Beke, of 'Strictly Come Dancing' fame.
The award winners were selected by the Association of Research Managers and Adminstrators (ARMA), which looked at nominations from across the UK to recognize excellence in research impact, public engagement and research management.
The NDM Strategic team is a small group of specialist staff that support large and complex projects within the department, including coordinating and facilitating public engagement events across NDM.
