Mapping proteins in tumours to help understand cancer

A group of researchers led by Dr Roman Fischer at NDM’s Target Discovery Institute and Centre for Medicines Discovery (CMD) has developed a method to study proteins in human tumours by creating detailed maps that show how much of each protein is present in different parts of the tissue.
Study reveals barriers to Hepatitis C care in Vietnam’s public healthcare

A recent study led by NDM’s Oxford University Clinical Research Unit (OUCRU) researchers highlighted the factors associated with the number of visits to one tertiary public hospital (HTD) that serves as the referral clinic for two-thirds of Vietnam for Hepatitis C virus (HCV) treatment.

OUCRU and KPMG will enhance Ho Chi Minh City’s health innovation

NDM’s Oxford University Clinical Research Unit in Viet Nam will be a part of a new initiative aimed at developing a strategic roadmap for Ho Chi Minh City to become a regional Health Innovation Hub. The project, supported by a £75,000 grant from the UK Government, is a strategic move to transform Ho Chi Minh City into ASEAN's leading health innovation centre.
RECOVERY trial expands to investigate treatments for influenza

The Randomised Evaluation of COVid-19 thERapY (RECOVERY) trial, which discovered four effective treatments for COVID-19, has now expanded to investigate treatments for influenza (flu). The RECOVERY trial is a collaboration between the Nuffield Department of Medicine and the Nuffield Department of Population Health.

Exploring ivermectin for malaria control in Kwale County
