Cori Campbell

DPhil student

I am a DPhil candidate supervised by Prof Philippa Matthews and Prof Ellie Barnes. My background is in epidemiology, and my research is broadly focused on improving characterisation and quantification of Hepatitis B virus (HBV) morbidity and mortality burdens in the United Kingdom. I am interested in identifying novel risk factors for liver cancer and end-stage disease in chronic HBV infection, and in investigating treatment eligibility and coverage across the UK HBV population. I utilise both primary care  and secondary care electronic health record databases to undertake my research. My Google Scholar profile can be found here. I am also a Research Officer in the Centre for Social Investigation at Nuffield College.

I’m a Peer Supporter within both the Nuffield Department of Medicine and wider Medical Sciences Division, and am very happy to be contacted with any welfare, wellbeing or related questions or concerns, or just to have an informal chat!
