The battle against drug resistant malaria in south-east Asia

Cases of drug-resistant malaria are increasing along the Thai-Myanmar border. Without a comprehensive, targeted approach to eliminate this variant, researchers across the region are concerned that the disease could once again take hold in an area already distressingly familiar with its life-threatening consequences.The BBC's Nick Wood reports from the Mae Sot District in north-east Thailand.
