Training and Development

diversity, equality and inclusionWe have a number of in-house training courses, webinars and workshops, which we would encourage staff and line managers to explore and engage with, beyond those EDI courses that are required during probation for new starters. The Equality and Diversity Unit within the University provide Information on mentoring and equality and diversity-related training available both face-to-face and online. NDM provide training and development opportunities, often in collaboration with internal course providers such as POD or external providers where appropriate.

There are so many external sources for expanding your understanding and impact in this area. One provider accessed frequently for EDI development is Pearn Kandola, a business psychology consultancy firm, who specialise in diversity and inclusion. They offer free informative webinars, which can be accessed here: https://pearnkandola.com/webinars/.
