We are seeking a Personal Assistant to support and assist Prof Ling-Pei Ho, in her capacity as Group Head within the MRC Human Immunology Unit, Lead for MRC UK Regenerative Medicine Lung Immunology Group and Chair of NIHR Translational Research Collaboration (TRC). Professor Ho is also the Clinical Lead for the Sarcoidosis Clinical Service. You will provide support on a wide range of matters that can be of a highly confidential nature. The post-holder will manage communication between Prof Ho and her group, her clinical secretary and other administrators in the UKRMP and TRC group.

The post holder will act as the first point of contact for all visitors and collaborators internally and externally as part of their duties. The post holder will also manage the diary and specified correspondence on behalf of Professor Ho. The post holder will be providing full administrative support on financial matters and assisting with project management tasks and maintaining record keeping as required.

You will demonstrate proven experience of diary management, carrying out complex UK and International travel arrangements and be able to handle conflicting scheduling demands. It is essential you hold excellent IT skills, a high standard of numeracy and written and verbal communication skills. You will have a flexible and confidential approach and excellent interpersonal skills. Knowledge and previous experience in project management will be desirable.

This post is part-time (18.25 hours per week) and fixed-term until 31 March 2022.
