DPhil candidate

Antibodies, vaccines, tuberculosis

I am a DPhil candidate in Clinical Medicine at Oxford University. My work has been developed at the Jenner Institute and the Peter Medawar building under the supervision of Prof. Helen McShane and Associate Prof Rachel Tanner. My DPhil project has consisted of the characterisation of antibody responses induced by TB vaccines to increase our understanding of the role of vaccine-induced antibodies in the protection against Mycobacterium tuberculosis infection and how this knowledge can be used to further TB vaccine R&D. My current research interests are antibody characterisation, vaccines immunology and manufacturing.
