Is it time to drop the ‘complete the course’ message for antibiotics?

Oxford researchers, Professors Tim Peto and Sarah Walker, in a recent publication in the BMJ are among a group of infectious disease experts to argue that the advice that completing a course of antibiotics is necessary to avoid antibiotic resistance is not supported by evidence and should be dropped.
