We are delighted to announce that seven researchers have been awarded the Associate Professor title, in recognition of their research achievements, contribution to teaching, and contribution to the general work of the Nuffield Department of Medicine.

Our new Associate Professor are:

Marta Maia, Medical Entomologist at the KEMRI Wellcome Trust Research Programme (KWTRP) in Kilifi, Kenya.

Jacob McKnight, researcher in health systems and management reform at the Health Systems Collaborative, NDM Centre for Global Health Research in Oxford, UK.

Martha Mwangome, working in the Nutrition assessment and Intervention research group at the KEMRI Wellcome Trust Research Programme (KWTRP) in Kilifi, Kenya.

Wirichada Pan-ngum, Acting Head of Mathematical and Economic Modelling (MAEMOD) at the Mahidol Oxford Tropical Medicine Research Unit (MORU) in Bangkok, Thailand.

Charles Sande, researcher on pneumonia and other serious respiratory infections that affect infants and young children, at the KEMRI Wellcome Trust Research Programme (KWTRP) in Kilifi, Kenya.

Jennifer Van Nuil, Head of Social Science and Implementation Research Group at Oxford University Clinical Research Unit (OUCRU) in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.

Anita Milicic, Group Leader for Vaccine Formulation and Adjuvants, Institute Director of Graduate Studies and the Lead for Public Engagement with Research at the Jenner Institute in Oxford.
