China Scholarship Council - Nuffield Department of Medicine Scholarships
The University of Oxford offers a number of scholarships to Chinese students who demonstrate both academic excellence and leadership potential jointly with the China Scholarship Council (CSC) (on behalf of the Chinese Ministry of Education).
Applicants who meet the CSC criteria and who apply for the DPhil in Clinical Medicine can be considered for:
- CSC match funded scheme
- CSC-CAMS/PUMC Oxford High-level Innovative Talent Scholarships
CSC match funded scheme
- CSC-Oxford University award: the CSC and Oxford University each pay 50% of tuition fees and 50% of the UKRI rate. NDM students on this scheme will also receive a stipend top up to the NDM Prize Studentship rate (currently £18,000).
- CSC-NDM award: CSC and NDM each pay 50% of tuition fees and 50% of a RCUK rate stipend. NDM will also top up the stipend to the NDM Prize Studentship rate (currently £18,000)
How to apply
Applicants should follow the instructions on the Information for Applicants page and apply by the December deadline. When completing the application, applicants should enter 'CSC-Oxford' in the funding field. After you have submitted your application please inform beibei.wang@ndm.ox.ac.uk, including your application number and CV in your email.
CSC-CAMS/PUMC Oxford High-level Innovative Talent Scholarships
Up to 10 students per year associated with the Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences Oxford Institute are awarded fully funded DPhil scholarships (up to 4 years), covering overseas fees and £21,000 stipend per year. Further information and how to apply.
